Hytera Communications Europe at an International Conference in Romania

A representative of Hytera Communications Europe had the honor of speaking at the International Scientific Conference “Challenges and Strategies in Public Order and Safety”, held in Bucharest and organized by the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Police Academy, Faculty of Firefighting.

In a presentation titled “Convergence of Technologies Supporting Critical Missions,” the speaker emphasized the importance of integrating narrowband communication systems (DMR/TETRA) with LTE/5G broadband solutions, advanced video technologies, and intelligent command-and-control centers. The session highlighted the role of operational resilience, interoperability, and technological support for agencies responsible for emergency response and maintaining public order.

Conference participants showed strong interest in modern solutions for critical communications, with particular engagement from the academy’s cadets, who actively followed the presentation and posed insightful questions. As noted during the session, continuous dialogue between academia, operational institutions, and industry leaders is essential for developing capabilities aligned with today’s security challenges.

Special thanks were extended to the event hosts — Brigadier General Irinel Alexandru Precup, Associate Professor Colonel Ion Anghel, Associate Professor Colonel Dr. Eng. Manuel Șerban, Colonel Ion Alin Mocioi, and the entire team of the Faculty of Firefighting — for their excellent organization. Appreciation was also expressed to Tora Security Systems for their professional collaboration and contribution to the event.
