ASSA ABLOY Expands Locksmith Division with New Regional Sales Appointment

ASSA ABLOY Commercial Group has appointed Bob Kemp as Regional Sales Manager for the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, further bolstering its dedicated Locksmith Division. Kemp, who has been with ASSA ABLOY for over a decade, previously worked with the Exidor brand and most recently focused on business development for door closers. His new role reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining close relationships with locksmiths and providing expert, on-the-ground support.

“I’ve worked with many locksmiths over the years and really value the relationships we’ve built,” Kemp said. “This new role gives me the chance to focus more closely on the sector and be part of a team that’s genuinely invested in supporting it.”

The Locksmith Division unites trusted brands under the ASSA ABLOY umbrella, including ASSA, UNION, and Mul-T-Lock, creating a streamlined structure that offers locksmiths faster service, clear points of contact, and integrated mechanical and digital solutions. At the MLA Expo, taking place from 10–12 October 2025 in Telford, UK, the expanded team will showcase ASSA ABLOY’s latest products, enhanced support services, and long-term commitment to the locksmith industry.
