Salto has introduced DLok, a next-generation smart lock designed for the residential market, delivering a fully digital and automated access experience for homes and apartments. DLok represents the latest evolution of Salto’s smart locking technology and a universal, motorized smart lock that seamlessly integrates with the Salto Homelok ecosystem, redefining how access is managed in smart homes.

The new lock delivers enhanced security, fully keyless operation, and advanced automation, offering users a simpler and safer everyday living experience. Developed as a universal retrofit solution, DLok addresses the growing demand for connected living spaces by ensuring doors are always properly locked or unlocked without the need for physical keys, using a digital key via a mobile application.

As part of the Homelok smart living ecosystem, DLok connects directly with other Salto solutions, enabling unified and integrated access management.

The lock also introduces significant engineering advancements in mechanics, electronics, and design, including a more powerful motor, improved calibration, and extended durability certified for more than 50,000 operating cycles. DLok is compatible with almost all door and cylinder types, and installation or retrofit can be completed in under 15 minutes without replacing the existing mechanical lock or door handle.
