Croatian Security Association announces the international conference “Private Security 2026”
The Hrvatski ceh zaštitara – strukovna zaštitarska komora has announced the upcoming international conference Private Security 2026, scheduled to take place on March 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM at The Westin Zagreb. The event represents the central annual gathering of Croatia’s private security industry, bringing together company representatives, experts, and institutions from Croatia and across the European Union.
The conference will gather professionals from the private security sector, users of security services, members of the academic community, and organizations from both the public and private sectors. The program will feature lectures, presentations, and panel discussions addressing key topics in the security industry.
Among the main themes are the role and challenges of the private security industry within Croatia’s national security system, the regulatory framework and implementation of legislation related to private security and the protection of critical infrastructure, as well as human resource management and professional competencies within the sector. Particular attention will also be given to the application of new technologies and integrated security solutions for protecting critical infrastructure and public spaces.
Participants will additionally discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence, as well as strategies for ensuring business continuity in conditions of increased security risks. The conference is organized with the support of partners including the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, COESS, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and Institut za sigurnosne politike.
The event is intended for security managers, representatives of government institutions, security system designers, consultants, academic experts, as well as manufacturers of security equipment and software.
