ASSA ABLOY acquires US company Sennco Solutions

ASSA ABLOY has announced the acquisition of Sennco Solutions, a US provider of asset protection technologies and solutions for retail security, particularly within the health and beauty segment. “I am very pleased to welcome Sennco to ASSA ABLOY. It is an exciting technological addition that will strengthen our offering in the retail sector and create new opportunities for growth,” said Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY.

According to the company, Sennco develops anti-theft solutions and serves a broad range of retail customers in the health and beauty sector. “Sennco is an excellent addition to the Global Solutions business area. Their expertise in anti-theft solutions further expands our offering for the retail sector,” said Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Technologies business unit within Global Solutions.

Sennco was founded in 2000 and employs around 40 people, with its headquarters located in Plainfield. Following the acquisition, the company will be integrated into the retail segment of ASSA ABLOY’s Global Solutions business area.
