Dormakaba Acquires UK’s Style Group to Strengthen Market Presence

Dormakaba has completed the acquisition of Style Group, one of the United Kingdom’s leading distributors of movable wall systems. The acquisition forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in one of Europe’s largest movable wall markets. Style will become part of Dormakaba’s Global Movable Walls business while retaining its brand, organisational structure, and approximately 100 employees. The two companies have enjoyed a long-standing partnership, with Style serving as the exclusive UK distributor of Skyfold and Dorma Hüppe products.

“This transaction builds on our long-standing relationship with Style and will enable us to further expand our movable wall business through its extensive network of clients and architects,” said Christian Baur, CTO and President of Key & Wall Solutions and OEM at Dormakaba. The acquisition will provide Dormakaba with direct access to an established customer base and network of architects whose solutions are deployed in projects ranging from universities and airports to major sports venues. Dormakaba CEO Till Reuter said the acquisition will support the company’s continued growth in the UK by combining complementary strengths in sales, service, and customer access.
