Axis C6110 Gains Video Capabilities with AXIS OS 12.11

Axis Communications has expanded the capabilities of the AXIS C6110 Network Paging Console with the AXIS OS 12.11 update, adding video support to its existing network audio functionality. Operators can now see and hear what is happening at a specific location in real time directly from the console, giving the device a broader role in communication and physical security systems. The new functionality is particularly useful at entrances, where the combination of video and two-way audio allows operators to verify who is requesting access before unlocking a door.

AXIS C6110 connects with existing Axis cameras and intercoms, enabling users to combine audio and video without additional dedicated hardware or switching between different systems during an incident.
