Adria Security Summit Day 1: The Future of Security is Built Through Cooperation and Knowledge Sharing

The opening day of the 10th anniversary Adria Security Summit was marked by strong messages from organizers and partners, underlining the importance of cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint action in the security industry.

Mahir Hodžić

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mahir Hodžić, emphasized that shared vision, collaboration, and innovation are the key drivers of new value in the industry. “These days, Skopje has become the regional hub of the security sector — a place where innovations and best practices are presented, while B2B meetings create new partnerships. I especially thank the presidents of professional chambers across the region for their support, which gives this event additional credibility,” Hodžić stated, also inviting industry representatives to attend the upcoming Romanian Security Summit in Bucharest.

Panče Toškovski

Panče Toškovski, Minister of Interior of North Macedonia, highlighted the importance of joint efforts in today’s security environment. “We live in a time of new challenges for the security sector, which is why events like this are of vital importance. They represent a bridge between the private and public sectors, a place where we meet and build a safer society together,” he said.

Verica Mileska Stefanovska

President of the Chamber for Private Security of North Macedonia, Verica Mileska Stefanovska, expressed her satisfaction that Skopje is hosting this year’s Summit: “We must work together for better responses to modern security challenges. Take the opportunity over the next two days to connect, network, and contribute to greater overall security,” she noted.

Leo Levit, Chairman of the ONVIF Steering Committee, stressed the global relevance of the Summit: “This is the right platform where experts from across the region come together. Such events play a crucial role in strengthening cooperation and sharing knowledge. ONVIF works along the same path — creating a global platform that enables vendors to collaborate and contribute to a safer and more connected society,” Levit said.

Alongside the exhibition area, Adria Security Summit 2025 also features a rich conference program with expert panels, lectures, and presentations from leading international and regional specialists. A major innovation this year is the launch of Adria Smart City, a new platform running in parallel with the Summit, dedicated to smart technology solutions for urban management.
