The Adria Security Summit has been officially listed in the global trade fair database of AUMA (the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry), further strengthening its international reputation and market position. The registration also brings tangible benefits for exhibitors. Many national and EU financial support programs rely on the AUMA database when assessing eligibility for co-funding of trade fair participation.
This means that companies taking part in the Summit, in accordance with the rules of their respective national programs, may apply for co-financing of their appearance or other forms of state-backed incentives. Inclusion in the AUMA database further confirms the international character of the event and its importance for the security industry in Southeast Europe, positioning the Summit among recognized professional trade fairs relevant to both global manufacturers and the regional market.
The company Senstar Technologies Corporation announced it has completed the acquisition of Blickfeld GmbH after receiving regulatory approvals and fulfilling all closing conditions. The agreement, first announced in December 2025, was funded with €10.4 million in cash plus an additional €1 million in performance-based earnouts. Blickfeld is a long-standing Senstar partner and a producer of 3D LiDAR sensors with integrated software for security, volume monitoring, industrial and traffic applications.
With this acquisition, Senstar strengthens its multi-layer physical security offering by adding high-precision 3D LiDAR sensors designed to protect perimeters and critical infrastructure points. The combined technologies are expected to improve detection accuracy, reduce false alarms and enhance situational awareness, while also expanding use cases to traffic monitoring and movement analytics.

Senstar stated the acquisition reflects its strategy of technological development and global expansion, particularly in critical infrastructure protection and emerging markets that require LiDAR-based situational awareness.
Canon continues to expand its portfolio of professional PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras designed for automated capture and remote operation in environments where traditional production would require larger crews. The solutions are used in videoconferencing, education, corporate presentations and houses of worship, as well as in event production, sports broadcasting and monitoring of large facilities.
The core of the range is the indoor CR-N series (CR-N100, CR-N300 and CR-N500), offering 4K recording, IP video transmission and integration into existing AV and IT systems. The cameras support standard streaming protocols and can be connected to livestreaming platforms and production systems, while optical zoom and advanced autofocus enable automatic tracking of speakers or lecturers without the constant presence of a camera operator.
For more demanding scenarios, the CR-X series—particularly the CR-X300—is designed for outdoor use. Its weather-resistant housing allows installation in stadiums, urban environments and infrastructure sites, where the camera can serve both production and security video monitoring purposes.
In addition to cameras, Canon also offers dedicated PTZ controllers enabling centralized management of multiple cameras simultaneously. Using a joystick and programmable buttons, operators can control movement, zoom, preset positions and exposure, allowing productions to be managed from a control room or even a remote location. This combination of cameras and controllers supports remote production workflows while significantly reducing the need for on-site technical staff.
The full range of Canon PTZ cameras and controllers was also exhibited at the company’s booth during ISE 2026 in Barcelona, where live demonstrations highlighted network-based control, automated capture and integration with AV infrastructure. Visitors were able to see how a single controller can operate several cameras and how events or lectures can be produced with minimal logistics, underscoring the growing role of PTZ technology in professional production and modern security systems.
Hikvision Adriatic/Malta organized a three-day technical training session at the Amadria Park resort in Šibenik, bringing together partners and installers from the region. The training was led by presales engineers Andrej Češek and Elvis Ferhatović, who presented the company’s latest solutions through presentations and live demonstrations.
During the sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore video surveillance and AcuSeek functions combined with the HikCentral Lite platform, as well as thermal cameras. Special attention was also given to access control systems, including new sliding gate solutions, barrier gates, and ANPR license plate recognition.
HD two-wire video intercom systems with a new monitor, AxHybrid Pro G2 solutions, and the HikPartner Pro and Hik-Connect applications for system management and maintenance were also presented. The company thanked all attendees for their active participation and announced new training events at upcoming locations.
EL.MO. has introduced a new intrusion control panel capable of managing up to 80 inputs while integrating both wired devices and devices connected via an RS-485 bus. The solution also supports remote control, allowing users to monitor and operate the security system from a distance.
The new panel is designed as a single control unit for advanced intrusion detection, intended to protect retail areas, warehouses, and offices within one unified system. The manufacturer states that the device offers customizable operating logic and broad possibilities for future integration with other security solutions.
In addition, installation is simplified, while security personnel gain a higher level of control over the system and its functions. The company says the goal of the solution is to provide more efficient protection of facilities along with the flexibility required for future upgrades and expansions.
The company Senstar has announced an educational webinar dedicated to the security of solar parks, a segment experiencing rapid growth in Estonia and across Europe. As renewable energy capacity continues to expand, protecting large photovoltaic sites is becoming a key concern for operators and investors.
According to the company, the main challenge is not only intruder detection but also finding the right balance between project budgets and system accuracy. Drawing on experience from projects worldwide, Senstar has developed an approach that helps integrators meet tender requirements while ensuring reliable protection for large PV installations.
The webinar, scheduled for February 25 and led by Maciej Kolbuszowski, will explain how site characteristics influence technology selection, how to align costs with expected system performance, and how to optimize response times while significantly reducing nuisance alarms. A special focus will be placed on choosing between sensor-based solutions and video analytics, in order to determine the optimal perimeter protection strategy.
Senstar notes that securing renewable energy infrastructure is increasingly important both for production continuity and for safeguarding investments, and the session will provide practical guidance that can be immediately applied in energy facility protection projects.
Axis Communications has introduced Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform integrated directly into its devices. The solution safeguards device integrity and enables secure operations based on cryptographic keys that establish a chain of trust. In this way, users can verify the identity and authenticity of the device and be certain they are using a genuine Axis product. The platform enables secure boot, allowing the device to operate only with a signed operating system and authorized updates.
At the same time, Edge Vault protects sensitive information such as cryptographic keys and prevents manipulation of software or recordings. Signed video is also supported, making it possible to verify whether video footage has been altered after recording. The solution includes supply-chain protection, secure key storage, and detection of unauthorized access attempts. By using a unique device identifier, cameras can be securely onboarded to the network and deployed faster in zero-trust environments.
Protection is based on security modules, TPM technology, and an isolated environment within the chip that secures communication, authentication, and encrypted video streaming. Axis also states that part of its portfolio complies with the FIPS 140 standard, which defines requirements for cryptographic operations and further strengthens system resilience against cyber threats.

Intersec 2026, the world-leading exhibition for security, safety and fire protection, has recorded its largest, most internationally diverse and strategically significant edition to date.
