Bosch Showcases Zagreb Project That Reduces False Fire Alarms

Bosch Life Safety Systems has presented a project involving the implementation of an advanced fire detection system in GRAWE Group office buildings in Zagreb, highlighting it as a practical example of addressing frequent false alarms in commercial facilities. These buildings had previously experienced recurring alarms that led to repeated evacuations, operational disruptions, and the risk of reduced responsiveness to real threats.

In cooperation with Fidens alarm d.o.o., Bosch deployed an integrated solution combining AVENAR fire alarm panels with a tailored mix of AVENAR detectors, including the 4000 series and aspirating smoke detection systems. The setup was further enhanced with the NEXOSPACE Fire System Explorer platform, enabling remote monitoring, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.

According to Bosch, this approach significantly reduces false alarms, lowers the need for on-site interventions, and improves overall system management. At the same time, the solution is designed to support future expansion and ensure compatibility with both existing and new infrastructure.

The project demonstrates how integrating advanced detection technologies with digital tools can improve the reliability of fire detection systems while reducing operational costs, all while maintaining a high level of safety in complex commercial environments.
