Hangzhou Day at Expo 2025 Osaka Showcases Hikvision’s AIoT Innovations
During Hangzhou Day, held on July 13 within the China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Hikvision showcased its solutions under the theme “Hangzhou AI for a Better World.” The event aimed to highlight Hangzhou’s rich cultural heritage and its leading role in driving AI-based innovation. As a Hangzhou-headquartered company, Hikvision presented its AIoT (AI-powered Internet of Things) products and solutions in the “Hangzhou ∙ Dream” exhibition zone, demonstrating how its technologies connect people and objects while addressing real-world needs through advanced perception capabilities.
One of the key attractions was the interactive “Machine Vision + Sports” showcase, where sports vision algorithms powered a smart sports system designed to enhance scientific training, interactive workouts, scalable testing, and seamless practice. Visitors actively participated in hands-on experiences, exploring how AI can boost sports performance and engagement. The demonstration highlighted the company’s expertise in diversified perception technologies and its potential to transform the sports sector.
During the presentation, Hikvision also introduced its THRIVE sustainability philosophy, built on five core areas: Harmony, Reliability, Integrity, Value Chain, and Environment. A concept video illustrated the company’s commitment to its “Tech for Good” principle, showing how sustainability is embedded across all operations and fostering industry growth—much like a banyan tree nurturing diverse ecosystems.
Hikvision’s presence at Expo 2025 Osaka as part of the China Pavilion reflects its dedication to technological innovation, scenario-based digitalization, and sustainable development. The company will continue fostering collaboration and developing solutions that contribute to a safer, more efficient, and more prosperous future.
