Security Essen 2026: Ticket Shop Opens Amid Strong Exhibitor Demand

Security Essen 2026 is already recording strong interest from companies months ahead of the event, reflected in a high level of exhibitor participation. The event will take place from 22 to 25 September at Messe Essen, where visitors can expect a comprehensive market overview, numerous innovations, and valuable opportunities for networking and business development.

Confirmed exhibitors include leading system providers, specialised manufacturers, start-ups, associations, and organisations, collectively covering the full spectrum of the security industry—from mechanical protection, access control, and video surveillance to fire safety, alarm systems, cybersecurity, and integrated security services.

Tickets for Security Essen 2026 are now available online. The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

High demand is also evident in the exhibition space: Hall 7, dedicated to fire protection, intrusion prevention, and security systems, is already fully booked, while only limited space remains available in Hall 6, focused on mechatronics and system solutions. Organisers highlight that this strong response underscores the importance of personal interaction and technological innovation within the sector.

A key highlight of the 2026 edition is the first-time co-location of the Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX), a trade fair focused on the defence industry. This initiative strengthens the connection between civil security and defence sectors, with an emphasis on resilience and crisis response. Additional international attention is expected due to the NATO JAPCC conference taking place at the same time.

Programme with a focus on practical insight, exchange, and future trends:
• Day of training and further education (22 September)
• Emergency services day (22 September)
• DNS Digital Networking Security Conference (22 and 23 September)
• European drone conference (23 and 24 September)
• Day of banks and saving banks (24 September)
