Many criminal activities tend to occur under the cover of darkness. However, traditional IR camera only capture footage in black and white color and miss critical color information. Key Features

The core feature of Smart Dual Light technology is the smart dual light mode, switching between IR light and warm light with Ultra Motion Detection function. This technology allows for light switching when a target is detected. Additionally, users can choose the light mode based on their needs, setting it according to time, and switching modes directly through the app for enhanced flexibility.

The Smart Dual Light IP camera offers three lighting modes: IR mode, warm light mode, and dual light mode. In IR mode, the IR light remains on at night; in warm light mode, the warm light stays on during nighttime; and in dual light mode, the infrared light is on when no events are detected. Upon the detection of a target, the camera switches from infrared to warm light, and once the target leaves the area, the warm light turns off, back to IR lighting.

Product Layout

Uniview Easy series Smart Dual Light products include EasyBasic and EasyStar series. The new naming rule uses “-DL” to denote Smart Dual Light products. The Smart Dual Light products in the EasyStar series will be updated and will also include an 8MP resolution, all supporting Ultra Motion Detection. To enrich the product line, the company has introduced Smart Dual Light to the EasyBasic series. If you need an economical Smart Dual Light product, you can choose this series. The product specifications are 2.4MP, 4MP supporting Ultra Motion Detection (based on human and vehicle).

On top of this, Uniview has Tri-guard 1.0 and Tri-guard 2.0 products in Prime series. They are suitable for SMB projects. Their lighting modes are the same with Easy products. To make things better, Tri-guard 1.0 models support speaker alerts when event occurs. Tri-guard 2.0 models support red and blue lights flash and speaker alerts when an event occurs.

Lastly, Uniview offers Smart Dual Light camera in its analog series.

Application

Traditional full color IP cameras keep the lights on throughout the night, which can be glaring and disrupt people’s rest. However, Smart Dual Light cameras only activate the lighting when an event occurs, thereby minimizing light pollution. Additionally, it ensures that crucial details of people and vehicles are not lost. The smart Dual Light camera captures colorful details.

When the IP camera detects an event, the warm light will turn on to deter intruders. What’s more, since the Dual Light IP cameras can be integrated with UMD (Ultra Motion Detection) technology, the camera can also function as a light sensor, illuminating your path home when you return.
