ASSA ABLOY, through its Megadoor solutions, protects some of the world’s largest industrial openings, including shipyards, aircraft hangars, and wind turbine factories. These doors are designed for large-scale facilities and demanding operating conditions, where safety, stability, and reliability are critical. Megadoor systems can reach widths of more than 50 meters and heights exceeding 30 meters, while maintaining stable operation in strong winds, low temperatures, and coastal environments. The doors operate on a vertical folding principle, with metal beams and durable fabric panels enabling smooth lifting and folding into horizontal sections.
