Ruijie Reyee Announces New Generation of GPON ONU Devices

Ruijie Reyee has announced an expansion of its GPON solutions portfolio with two new ONU devices, the RG-PON1200G and RG-PON3000GX, designed for internet service providers and home broadband networks. The RG-PON1200G supports Wi-Fi 5 and is recommended for service plans with speeds of up to 300 Mbps, while the RG-PON3000GX features Wi-Fi 6 technology and is designed for connections of 300 Mbps and above. Both models support Reyee Mesh connectivity with RG-EW wireless routers, as well as TR-069, TR-369, OMCI, TR-181, and TR-143 standards, facilitating integration and remote device management. According to the manufacturer, the devices use DCMD antenna technology to deliver a stronger signal and can provide Wi-Fi coverage of up to 100 square meters.

The automatic channel optimization feature analyzes the wireless environment and selects the optimal channel to reduce interference, while cloud management enables remote password changes, device reboots, and other interventions without requiring technicians to visit the site. Both devices feature surge protection of up to 6 kV and come with a three-year warranty, while Ruijie Reyee also states that they are compatible with more than ten leading OLT brands, including Huawei, ZTE, TP-Link, VSOL, C-Data, and BDCOM. The new GPON ONU models are expected to become available soon.
