BH Telecom Launched Its Security Operation Center
BH Telecom has successfully launched its Security Operation Center (SOC), in collaboration with its partners. The SOC is a centralized 24/7/365 solution responsible for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and protection of digital resources, with the aim of protecting information, infrastructure, and business operations from cyber attacks.
In line with global trends in information security and the current geopolitical situation, protection against cyber attacks has emerged as one of the crucial elements in every company’s operations. Recognizing these risks is important both in private and public companies, since the potential damage caused by even the simplest security incident should not be overlooked.
With the assistance of the SOC, companies can now proactively and promptly respond to potential attacks, safeguarding their data, finances, and reputation. Some of the key advantages of the BH Telecom’s SOC solution include a highly redundant network infrastructure and a reliable new vSAN Cloud platform. Additionally, BH Telecom’s has years of experience in continuous monitoring, real-time response, 24/7/365 availability, investigation of suspicious activities, knowledge and expertise of internal and partner IT professionals, and an integrated quality system certified according to ISO 9001 and 27001 standards.
BH Telecom is also the first holder of an industrial security permit in the field of telecommunications in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Introduced last year, the testing phase has been successfully completed and the solution commercially launched in the first quarter of this year. It already has first users whose infrastructure was quickly and seamlessly integrated into the SOC service, without compromising the security of their business information and/or personal data.
In the coming period, BH Telecom plans to further enhance the flexibility of the SOC service and make it more accessible to users, allowing more companies and institutions to utilize part of its functions or the entire SOC service for affordable monthly fees, tailored to their specific needs and risk management processes.
