TVT: TD-A624E2 All-in-One Server Solution for Smarter Security System Management

TVT Digital Technology has presented the capabilities of its TD-A624E2 All-in-One server solution, a device that combines multiple security management functions and advanced analytics capabilities within a single platform.

The solution is designed to simplify the management of security infrastructure in facilities where several different systems are deployed. By integrating multiple functions into one device, it reduces the need for additional hardware, streamlines installation, and improves operational efficiency.

The server supports a range of features that facilitate the daily work of security operators, including quick video preview, event search using text and images, and automated alarm linkage for faster responses to security incidents.

The system also provides double-check verification for perimeter protection events to help minimize false alarms, while real-time parking management functions enable more efficient use of available space.

Thanks to the integration of multiple capabilities within a single platform, the solution is suited for applications in commercial complexes, parking facilities, office buildings, and industrial parks, where centralized management of security and operational systems is required.

Alarm automatika Organizes Series of Professional Trainings for Security Professionals Across the Region

Alarm automatika has organized a series of professional training sessions for installers and security professionals in several cities across the Adriatic region, highlighting the importance of continuous investment in knowledge within the technical security industry.

The arrival of warmer days and the start of the spring season typically bring a more intensive pace of projects, new investments, and installations in the security systems market. For this reason, the education of installers and integrators becomes just as important as keeping up with technological innovation. In recent days, Alarm automatika teams have organized a number of workshops and seminars dedicated to the latest technologies and solutions in the security sector.

In Ljubljana, a practical workshop titled “Ajax Fibra – Advanced Scenarios and Integrations in Practice” was held for professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of the Fibra system and its application in real installations. Through hands-on exercises, participants explored key system functionalities, advanced scenarios, and integration capabilities. The training concluded with a knowledge test that enables participants to obtain or renew their Ajax Fibra certification.

At the same time, Ajax training sessions were held in Sofia focusing on EN54 fire alarm systems and the latest developments in the Ajax video segment. Participants were introduced to the advantages of modern wireless technologies in fire protection systems, particularly in terms of faster installation, greater flexibility, and cost optimization compared to traditional solutions.

In Split, a seminar was organized on the fundamentals of network infrastructure and its role in modern security systems. Reliable network infrastructure is now the foundation of every integrated security system, enabling the stable operation of video surveillance, alarm systems, and access control, as well as reliable communication between all system components.

Alarm automatika emphasized that the trainings and workshops will continue across the region in the coming period, with the goal of supporting the continuous professional development of installers and partner companies.

DoorBird launches new IP Video Indoor Stations

DoorBird is launching two additional new products: the IP video indoor stations A1103 and A1104 will be presented in early March at Light + Building in Frankfurt. Back in January, the Berlin-based specialist for IP door communication announced several innovations and now complements its range with the powerful A1103 and A1104 indoor solutions.

The new DoorBird indoor stations enable convenient door release and elevator control directly via the intuitive display. Thanks to free cloud recording, users can access a detailed visitor history at any time and maintain full transparency. When multiple indoor stations are installed within a building, seamless room-to-room communication is supported. In addition, SIP compatibility ensures maximum flexibility, allowing calls from concierges or facility managers, for example.

The indoor stations also display real-time weather information and integrate easily into existing home and building automation systems – supporting IP, TCP, HTTPS, relays, and other interfaces. Configuration can be managed worldwide via the DoorBird app or the web-based dashboard. Furthermore, the indoor stations are compatible with smart locks and the DoorBird IP Video Mini Dome camera, making them perfect for modern access and security solutions.

7-Inch Touch Display, Crystal-Clear Sound and Award-Winning Design

Both indoor stations are equipped with a 7-inch true-color touch display made of scratch-resistant tempered glass. HD video and two-way audio ensure reliable communication – whether in residential properties, commercial buildings or public facilities. A configurable RGB LED status bar provides information about visitors and missed calls. Various mounting options allow flexible integration into different interior concepts. The A1103 model, available in black, white, and white with a black frame, features a touch bar with direct access to the functions Talk, Door Open, Favorites and Mute. The A1104 model, with its black housing and elegant accent in brushed or coated stainless steel, is aimed at design-oriented users. Both versions impress not only with their technical performance but have also already received the German Design Award.

The IP video indoor stations will be available from April 2026 in the online shop at: https://www.doorbird.com/shop

EUDEX: 200 days to go until the Euro Defence Expo in Essen

There are 200 days left until the international Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX), which will take place in Essen. The new trade fair for the security and defence industry has already sent a strong political signal by organising a parliamentary evening in Berlin, where around 120 high-level representatives from politics, diplomacy, the military, public administration, and industry gathered to discuss the future of Europe’s security architecture.

The event was held at the German Parliament, with discussions focusing on the changing security situation in Europe and the need to strengthen cooperation between industry and military structures. The organisers emphasised that EUDEX aims to be more than just an industry trade fair — it seeks to serve as a platform for strategic dialogue, technological innovation, and enhanced civil-military cooperation in Europe.

The gathering was opened by Nathanael Liminski, Minister for Federal and European Affairs of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, who highlighted the importance of a strong industrial base for Europe’s defence capabilities. He stressed that the region plays a key role as an industrial backbone of the new security policy developments in Europe.

Security challenges were also addressed by Major General Andreas Henne, Commander of the German Army’s Homeland Defence Division, who presented measures being implemented to protect Germany from emerging threats and underlined that homeland security is a crucial component of national defence.

During the final part of the event, participants also discussed the importance of Essen as a trade fair destination. The city has built a reputation over decades as an international hub for security exhibitions, particularly thanks to the Security Essen trade fair and its strong industrial infrastructure. Essen’s Mayor Thomas Kufen stated that Euro Defence Expo will further strengthen the city’s international profile as a centre for the security and defence industry.

The Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX) will take place from 22 to 25 September 2026 at Messe Essen. More information is available at: www.eurodefenceexpo.de

G4S World Security Report 2025: Economic instability and threats to executives among key risks

G4S has released the World Security Report 2025, a global report analysing the most significant security risks companies face worldwide. The report provides insights based on the perspectives of security leaders and institutional investors, revealing how organisational security priorities are shifting in an increasingly unstable global environment.

According to the findings, 44% of security leaders believe that economic instability will be the top factor impacting security in the coming year. At the same time, a growing number of companies are facing risks that go beyond traditional security threats. One of the prominent trends highlighted in the report is the increase in threats of violence toward company executives, noted by 42% of surveyed security leaders. This trend is further reinforced by investor sentiment: 97% of global institutional investors say that providing physical protection for executives of companies they invest in is extremely important.

The report also points to the growing impact of information manipulation on the business environment. As many as 75% of companies report being targeted by misinformation or disinformation campaigns, demonstrating how reputational and information-related risks are becoming an important part of corporate security strategies.

In addition, the research shows that key executives have a significant influence on company value. Seven out of ten investors believe that the contribution of key executives represents 30% or more of a company’s total value, further underlining the importance of protecting them.
