TVT Digital Technology has presented the capabilities of its TD-A624E2 All-in-One server solution, a device that combines multiple security management functions and advanced analytics capabilities within a single platform.

The solution is designed to simplify the management of security infrastructure in facilities where several different systems are deployed. By integrating multiple functions into one device, it reduces the need for additional hardware, streamlines installation, and improves operational efficiency.

The server supports a range of features that facilitate the daily work of security operators, including quick video preview, event search using text and images, and automated alarm linkage for faster responses to security incidents.

The system also provides double-check verification for perimeter protection events to help minimize false alarms, while real-time parking management functions enable more efficient use of available space.

Thanks to the integration of multiple capabilities within a single platform, the solution is suited for applications in commercial complexes, parking facilities, office buildings, and industrial parks, where centralized management of security and operational systems is required.

DoorBird is launching two additional new products: the IP video indoor stations A1103 and A1104 will be presented in early March at Light + Building in Frankfurt. Back in January, the Berlin-based specialist for IP door communication announced several innovations and now complements its range with the powerful A1103 and A1104 indoor solutions.

The new DoorBird indoor stations enable convenient door release and elevator control directly via the intuitive display. Thanks to free cloud recording, users can access a detailed visitor history at any time and maintain full transparency. When multiple indoor stations are installed within a building, seamless room-to-room communication is supported. In addition, SIP compatibility ensures maximum flexibility, allowing calls from concierges or facility managers, for example.

The indoor stations also display real-time weather information and integrate easily into existing home and building automation systems – supporting IP, TCP, HTTPS, relays, and other interfaces. Configuration can be managed worldwide via the DoorBird app or the web-based dashboard. Furthermore, the indoor stations are compatible with smart locks and the DoorBird IP Video Mini Dome camera, making them perfect for modern access and security solutions.

7-Inch Touch Display, Crystal-Clear Sound and Award-Winning Design

Both indoor stations are equipped with a 7-inch true-color touch display made of scratch-resistant tempered glass. HD video and two-way audio ensure reliable communication – whether in residential properties, commercial buildings or public facilities. A configurable RGB LED status bar provides information about visitors and missed calls. Various mounting options allow flexible integration into different interior concepts. The A1103 model, available in black, white, and white with a black frame, features a touch bar with direct access to the functions Talk, Door Open, Favorites and Mute. The A1104 model, with its black housing and elegant accent in brushed or coated stainless steel, is aimed at design-oriented users. Both versions impress not only with their technical performance but have also already received the German Design Award.

There are 200 days left until the international Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX), which will take place in Essen. The new trade fair for the security and defence industry has already sent a strong political signal by organising a parliamentary evening in Berlin, where around 120 high-level representatives from politics, diplomacy, the military, public administration, and industry gathered to discuss the future of Europe’s security architecture.

The event was held at the German Parliament, with discussions focusing on the changing security situation in Europe and the need to strengthen cooperation between industry and military structures. The organisers emphasised that EUDEX aims to be more than just an industry trade fair — it seeks to serve as a platform for strategic dialogue, technological innovation, and enhanced civil-military cooperation in Europe.

The gathering was opened by Nathanael Liminski, Minister for Federal and European Affairs of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, who highlighted the importance of a strong industrial base for Europe’s defence capabilities. He stressed that the region plays a key role as an industrial backbone of the new security policy developments in Europe.

Security challenges were also addressed by Major General Andreas Henne, Commander of the German Army’s Homeland Defence Division, who presented measures being implemented to protect Germany from emerging threats and underlined that homeland security is a crucial component of national defence.

During the final part of the event, participants also discussed the importance of Essen as a trade fair destination. The city has built a reputation over decades as an international hub for security exhibitions, particularly thanks to the Security Essen trade fair and its strong industrial infrastructure. Hikvision has introduced HikCentral Mini Cube, a compact all-in-one solution that integrates video surveillance, access control, video intercom, and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR). The system is designed as a central platform for managing security in smaller business environments such as retail stores, offices, and small commercial facilities.

Mini Cube comes with the Windows 11 operating system pre-installed along with licensed software, allowing the system to be deployed quickly without complex configuration. The platform supports up to 128 video channels and 32 access control doors, covering a wide range of security needs for small and medium-sized facilities.

The solution combines camera management, entry and exit control, video intercom communication, and ANPR functions within a single interface. Users can also manage the system remotely via mobile devices, enabling easier monitoring and faster response to security events in real time. The device features a compact design, with both hardware and software integrated into a small unit that enables centralized management of the security system.

IDIS has introduced IDIS VAI, a next-generation video analytics platform powered by artificial intelligence. The solution can detect more than 30 different object types, including people, vehicles, and faces, and integrates seamlessly with the IDIS Solution Suite VMS.

The platform provides real-time analytical insights that enhance live monitoring, forensic video investigation, and the operational efficiency of security teams. Its capabilities include intruder detection, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), crowd management, and personal protective equipment (PPE) detection. Thanks to its wide range of analytics features, the solution is designed for use across sectors such as security, transportation, retail, healthcare, and industry. ATEÏS Europe B.V. has introduced the VX Series, a new range of two-way passive point-source loudspeakers designed for professional audio applications. The series includes models ranging from the compact VX6 to the higher-output VX12, complemented by the dedicated VX15B subwoofer. According to the manufacturer, the VX Series delivers controlled directivity, high maximum sound pressure levels with low distortion, and a wide frequency response suitable for both speech and music reproduction. Ajax Systems has announced that its Superior Hub Hybrid (4G) has received certification of compliance with the European cybersecurity standard ETSI EN 303 645. This standard defines security requirements for connected devices, including smart home systems, alarm systems, fire detectors, and video surveillance cameras. The certification confirms a high level of privacy protection and the implementation of verified cybersecurity practices within Ajax systems. The standard includes 13 core principles covering secure communication, data protection, software integrity, updates, and vulnerability management.

Superior Hub Hybrid (4G) is the first Ajax product to obtain this certification following testing at the KIWA laboratory, and its compliance with the Swedish SSF 1120 requirements has also been confirmed. The system uses encrypted data transmission between the hub, the cloud platform, and mobile applications, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access or device tampering.

The company also emphasizes that all Ajax hubs follow the same data protection principles and use AES-128 encryption to ensure secure communication. This certification provides partners and users with additional assurance that the devices receive regular updates and are designed for long-term, stable, and secure operation.

ASSA ABLOY has announced the acquisition of Sennco Solutions, a US provider of asset protection technologies and solutions for retail security, particularly within the health and beauty segment. “I am very pleased to welcome Sennco to ASSA ABLOY. It is an exciting technological addition that will strengthen our offering in the retail sector and create new opportunities for growth,” said Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY.

According to the company, Sennco develops anti-theft solutions and serves a broad range of retail customers in the health and beauty sector. “Sennco is an excellent addition to the Global Solutions business area. Their expertise in anti-theft solutions further expands our offering for the retail sector,” said Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Technologies business unit within Global Solutions.

Sennco was founded in 2000 and employs around 40 people, with its headquarters located in Plainfield. Following the acquisition, the company will be integrated into the retail segment of ASSA ABLOY’s Global Solutions business area.
