Prima DoorApp Introduces a New Generation of Offline Access Control Management
Prima sistemi has introduced a new version of its DoorApp platform, bringing expanded support for offline one-door controllers and further simplifying access control management. In addition to existing offline cylinders and handles, DoorApp now also supports offline one-door controllers, expanding the company’s hardware portfolio and enabling more flexible deployment across different types of facilities. The key innovation lies in the device configuration process, as traditional programming cards have been replaced with BLE and NFC communication via a mobile application.
Using the Prima DoorApp application, installers and system administrators can configure offline devices directly from a smartphone, retrieve event logs without additional equipment, and simplify both installation and system maintenance.
Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of the DoorApp platform with Nova software, enabling offline readers to transmit access events to the central software system. In this way, the offline system effectively transitions into a semi-online operating mode, providing better event visibility and easier access management. The new functionality is intended for companies and installers seeking a simpler and more mobile approach to offline access control management while reducing the need for additional configuration tools.
