The Countdown Begins: Registration for the Adria Security Summit 2022 Is Now Open

The Adria Security Summit powered by Intersec 2022, the largest security event in this part of the world, has opened its doors to all participants who can now register on the official website of the event at https://www.adriasecuritysummit.com/.
As the organizers expect more than 100 exhibitor booths from the leading regional and worldwide brands, as well as 3000+ participants and 20+ media and strategic partners, the organizing team tried to make the registration process simpler and in line with the latest standards in the trade show and conference segment.
Accordingly, after successful registration, participants will be notified via email. The event badge will be activated one month prior to event. It is necessary to print out the badge with the QR code and show it when entering the Summit venue, upon which the participants will receive a suitable lanyard with PVC foil.
To facilitate access to loyal visitors to related events held under the Summit brand, all persons previously registered on the previous a&s Adria events do not have to go through the registration process again but only print the QR code from their existing Connect2B profile once it is activated. All the registered participants are available to schedule the meetings with other participants on the event.
Please note that admission is free for exhibitors and participants with a FREE PASS card, while visitors will be able to pay online entrance ticket.

Adria Security Summit powered by Intersec 2022 will be held 5-6 October 2022 in the Croatian capital of Zagreb, in pavilion 7 of the Zagreb Fair.
The Summit will offer an eventful program dealing with the security, Internet of Things, ICT, smart solutions, and related technologies.

Igigi: Path to Innovation and synergy of marketing and security industry

Representatives of the G4S company and Igigi startup held a presentation as part of a series of a&s Adria webinars on the marketing platform, and a virtual character called Igigi.

Igigi character uses artificial intelligence algorithms based on which it is able to interact with the approaching people, monitor the behavior of people, and based on that give recommendations for further action.

The Igigi is mostly in shopping malls or in banks where it can provide certain information on request.

In addition to the above possibilities, Igigi is an ideal security solution with regard to the possibility of acting in emergency situations through automatic incident detection.

WEBINAR: The Evolution of Dual Vision Cameras for Automatic Incident and Fire Detection

a&s Adria magazine organized a webinar in cooperation with Zodax and Teledyne FLIR companies on the benefits of using dual vision cameras in surveilling critical infrastructures. Hesham Enan, Key Account Manager for the Middle East, focused on the benefits of using dual vision cameras in tunnels and highways.

Dual-vision cameras integrate thermal vision that is able to detect fire incidents and see through the smoke. These features make them more efficient in the early detection of fire incidents. Additionally, cameras are equipped with AI technology which enables them to easily create alerts, distinguish fire incidents from hot spots, and reduce false alarms. Secure Logiq embarks on ‘Security Tour France’

Security Essen wins back Telenot and dormakaba as exhibitors

Security Essen is strengthening its position as an important on-site event and business platform for the security industry. After Honeywell, Telenot and dormakaba are now also returning to the international security trade fair. From 20 to 23 September 2022, they will present their innovations to the trade public at Messe Essen.

Invitation to the Korea pavilion at Hannover Messe 2022

Technical and industrial innovations of 29 exhibitors from South Korea will be presented at this year’s Hannover Messe, which will take place from 30 May to 2 June 2022.

Korea Pavilion is located in Hall 4, 6, 11, 13 (KOTRA Information Booth – Hall 11, B16).

Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will provide support by establishing meetings with Korean companies directly at Hannover Messe or digital via Zoom, Teams or Skype etc. Its staff will be available for you on the spot throughout the exhibition and will also help with the translation.

Next to its match making service, KOTRA will also provide visitors with a free entry ticket.

Follow Cathexis EU, Secure Logiq, ZKTeco, Toshiba and Camect on a roadshow across France from 23 May to 6 June 2022.

The 3rd ICANN APAC-TWNIC Engagement Forum

Heavyweight lineup to highlight the event, which will discuss global Internet governance issues, including domain names, URLs and security.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) will jointly hold the 3rd ICANN APAC-TWNIC Engagement Forum and the 37th TWNIC IP Open Policy Meeting on May 12 and 13 in both physical and online formats, offering an opportunity for stakeholders from industry, government, academia as well as the global community to re-visit the nature of the Internet and hold in-depth discussions on domain name system, IP addresses policies and cyber security. This event will put Taiwan, which is already a key player in cyber security in the Asia-Pacific region, in a strategic positon to respond to global Internet issues and further build a more secure and stable network environment.

ICANN is a global non-governmental and non-profit organization responsible for ensuring the stable and secure operation of the Internet’s system of unique identifiers, including domain names, IP addresses and root server, taking responsibility for coordinating and securing stable interoperation of the global networks. With increased use of the Internet globally, the DNS abuse has become a more serious issue. ICANN and TWNIC are joining hands again to hold the 3rd ICANN APAC-TWNIC Engagement Forum. Through a format of discussion forum, focusing on the nature of Internet in the three aspects- Domain Name, IP address and cyber security, participants will have a chance to experience in-depth discussions on topics related to Internet and governance, such as DNS (Domain Name System), RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure) and New gTLD (New generic Top-Level Domains) progress.

The forum has specially invited Dr. Vinton Cerf, the father of the Internet, to lead discussions on the nature of the Internet. Furthermore, the 37th TWNIC IP Open Policy Meeting (OPM) is as a parallel meeting with ICANN APAC-TWNIC Engagement Forum 2022. The IP OPM will provide great opportunities to the participants for the communication on the network technology research and industry development.
