“Private Security 2026” Conference Held Today in Zagreb, a&s Adria Editorial Team in Attendance

The “Private Security 2026” conference is taking place today in Zagreb at the Westin Hotel, organized by the Croatian Security Association – Professional Security Chamber, bringing together key stakeholders from the private security industry in Croatia and across the region.

The conference program began with opening and welcome remarks by industry and institutional representatives, including Lidija Stolica, President of the Croatian Security Association, and Marijana Klanac from the Civil Protection Directorate of the Croatian Ministry of the Interior. This was followed by thematic panels addressing the role of the private security industry within the national security framework. The first module focused on regulatory and operational aspects of the sector, with participation from government representatives and leading companies.

The second part of the conference focused on new technologies, including presentations and panel discussions on the role of artificial intelligence in security systems. Particular emphasis was placed on the collaboration between humans and AI in modern security operations, as well as on practical applications in real-world scenarios.

In the continuation of the program, participants discussed the challenges facing the private security industry in Southeast Europe, with a focus on regional cooperation and the exchange of expertise among professional organizations and experts.
