By adding a few lines of Javascript code provided by Nodezero to phishing pages created using popular testing tools, organisations can automatically channel captured credentials into an active Nodezero penetration test. This test then utilises those phished credentials in conjunction with exploitable security weaknesses discovered by Nodezero as part of its attack against the network.

The outcome is a comprehensive report detailing the impact of each phished credential, offering organisations unprecedented insights into their security posture. This not only enhances their understanding of potential threats but also drives effective improvements to safeguard their systems against real-world attacks.

Horizon3.ai’s Phishing Impact test with Nodezero is thought to be a first-of-its-kind tool, equipping organisations with the knowledge and resources to proactively address vulnerabilities in their cyber security defences.

In 2023, over 12,000 drivers from the company’s client base, joined the Addsecure Eco-Driving Challenge, a pan-European competition. It involved 75 companies, 140 teams, and around 8,200 heavy commercial trucks. Ahola Transport (FIN) earned the best eco-driving score in Q4, while Götene Kyltransporter (SE) achieved the greatest CO2 reduction.

The results of the Eco-Driving 2023 competition revealed that the voluntary challenge, based on an Eco-Driving Index, improved driving behaviour and proved to deliver major fuel savings.

When comparing the 2023 results with 2017 (when the challenge started), the calculations show that the competing companies reduced their total consumption by approximately 9.2 million litres of fuel on a yearly basis. This results in reduced CO2 emissions of approximately 24,400 tons and savings of about 13.9 million Euros.

To make the competition extra exciting, the 75 competing companies are divided into 6 different groups based on country (SE, NO, FI, DK, DE, FR) and in one group for bus operators in Europe. During the competition Addsecure has continuously updated a performance chart to keep all stakeholders informed about the competition’s developments. NEC Corporation announced that its face recognition technology has been ranked the world’s most accurate in a benchmark test conducted by the globally recognized U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

In this benchmark test, NEC received the highest performance evaluation in “1:N Identification,” which consists of still images of 12 million different people, by achieving an authentication accuracy rate of 99.88%.

NEC also ranked first in three other tests – including an aging effects test, in which photos taken more than 10 years prior were used for identification – and placed in the top three in all categories of the Face Recognition Technology Evaluation (FRTE) 1:N Identification leaderboard that are posted on the NIST website.

Since beginning participation in 2009, NEC has ranked first in the world multiple times in the “1:N Identification” test, which calls for the highest accuracy of all of the face recognition benchmarks conducted by NIST. While working to improve the performance of its core algorithm, NEC has simultaneously rolled out real-world implementations of face recognition, and its face recognition business now operates in more than 50 countries and regions around the world.

The ID documents, which for the first time include Veridos’ innovative security features CLIP ID Echo, Amber ID, Diamond ID and Spectre ID, are among the highest quality ePassports in Europe.

In addition to the documents, the collaboration with the Latvian authorities includes the supply of the central personalization system as well as support and maintenance services over a period of five years.

The ePassports feature the security technology known as CLIP ID Echo, a repeated portrait and biographical data of the cardholder, such as date of birth or ID number, that is only visible from certain angles. The technology is an evolution of CLIP ID (Color Laser Image Protected ID), an integrated solution that adds vivid color photos to the next generation of polycarbonate ID documents.
