ICT Appoints Piotr Rek as Sales Director for Central and Eastern Europe

Integrated Control Technology has appointed Piotr Rek as Sales Director for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, strengthening its leadership team as part of ongoing international expansion. The appointment underlines ICT’s strategic focus on the CEE market, where demand for advanced access control, security, and building automation solutions continues to grow.

Piotr brings nearly 20 years of experience in electronic security, building automation, and public safety, with a strong track record across Central and Eastern Europe. He joins ICT after spending the past decade as Chief Operating Officer at CDVI Polska, where he led regional sales strategies and expanded distribution networks. Alongside his commercial roles, Piotr has also contributed to national safety initiatives, including Poland’s “Third Signal” project focused on early-warning systems for road and rail safety.

In his new role, Piotr will be responsible for driving ICT’s growth strategy and partner development across a wide CEE territory. His appointment is expected to further strengthen local market support and accelerate partner engagement throughout the region. “Piotr brings a powerful combination of regional expertise, strategic leadership, and deep knowledge of the access control ecosystem,” said Thomas Napora, Vice President and General Manager EMEA at ICT. “His appointment marks an important step in strengthening our presence across Central and Eastern Europe,” he added.

ECCOS DAY 2025: A Demonstration of Engineering Strength and Technological Integration

ECCOS DAY 2025, held today in Zagreb, once again confirmed ECCOS’s position as one of the leading system integrators in Southeast Europe. The conference featured the launch of the company’s newly redesigned website, offering a clearer overview of its solution portfolio and more efficient communication with partners. Hytera Communications Europe at an International Conference in Romania

A representative of Hytera Communications Europe had the honor of speaking at the International Scientific Conference “Challenges and Strategies in Public Order and Safety”, held in Bucharest and organized by the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Police Academy, Faculty of Firefighting.

In a presentation titled “Convergence of Technologies Supporting Critical Missions,” the speaker emphasized the importance of integrating narrowband communication systems (DMR/TETRA) with LTE/5G broadband solutions, advanced video technologies, and intelligent command-and-control centers. The session highlighted the role of operational resilience, interoperability, and technological support for agencies responsible for emergency response and maintaining public order.

Conference participants showed strong interest in modern solutions for critical communications, with particular engagement from the academy’s cadets, who actively followed the presentation and posed insightful questions.
